We made an offer on a short sale property and seller submitted our offer to the bank and got a verbal approval very quickly. Not only our offer got approved, the bank will pay part of the closing cost. I am anxious to know in such case, how long it takes for the verbal approval to become written one. do you know?
thanks.
BellaGuan'rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07058571216680759698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19730096.post-66697225192072312942008-12-08T08:10:00.000-06:002008-12-08T08:10:00.000-06:00Hey Eric, I despise the procedural folly that is a...Hey Eric,

I despise the procedural folly that is a short sale. I personally wrote an offer on a short sale candidate at the end of August, and the seller accepted. Countrywide still hasn't acted on the deal, in spite of daily, weekly nagging from all parties involved. The property has been sent to foreclosure auction twice, only to be adjourned. The short sale process can be miserable. Smart to give your readers a heads up about the potential snags.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
