Prime real estate, the property was subject to some preservation controversy surrounding it's facade and trademark signage.

Now playing at Esquire Theater in Gold Coast

It appears a certain construction crew has a good sense of humor (depending on what side of the Esquire Theatre debate you are on).

Andersonville's Esquire Barber Shop coming to Lincoln Square too

Bob and I discovered Esquire Barber Shop in Andersonville over a year ago.  Great story by DNAinfo on the newest Lincoln Square location to open soon at Lawrence and Western. Now I can go to both locations!

Esquire Barber Shop in Andersonville

Barber Justin Albrecht (All photos Eric Rojas, Real Estate Broker)

Bob's been going to Esquire Barber Shop in Andersonville for awhile. I've been complaining about my haircuts forever and Bob told me to "just get over there already!". I finally got in to see Justin Albrecht a couple weeks back for an awesome (and efficient) shorter cut, watch a little tennis... and hot the towel!  You can follow Justin HERE. Smart dude.

Lincoln Square Barber Shop: A welcome Lincoln Square addition

Lincoln Square Barber Shop 2415 W Lawrence, Chicago

Many of us know owner and barber Aaron Williams from Esquire way over yonder in Andersonville.  But now "our guy!" is up and running around the corner at Lawrence and Western AvenuesLincoln Square Barber Shop has the expected great cuts and local insider feeling we love. You can make appointments online and space has great potential to be that classic guy hang-out.

Aaron is also a proud donor to the 15th Annual St Matthias Friend's of the Grape fest coming up this October 5th.  Eat, drink and bid on many cool items including packages with Lincoln Square Barber shop signature haircuts.

Thanks guys!  I'll see you at the barber shop each month!
