A Curbed Chicago story today alerted me to trouble at tiny Gold Coast Mariano Park.
It appears the Chicago Park District has been seeking bids for the concession space at the park that could alter the entire park itself. Respected neighbor and business Whispers Coffee and Tea (1031 N State St, Chicago, IL 60610) lease is reported as up in November.
