Lincoln Square "L" train mural... next to the tracks

A cool garage mural near Leavitt and Leland adjacent to the tracks.

I've walked by this "L" train mural in Lincoln Square a 100 times.  I finally took a couple photos. These home owners have embraced living with the "L" tracks directly behind their property.

Artist T-Money has murals with a message around the city.  This one is painted on a curious property along developing North Lincoln Avenue that cuts northwest through Lincoln Square. 

The mural is painted on the yellow building on the right.  The building has operated as some type of club but really don't know what's going on with it. The property with the red fence is 5055 North Lincoln Avenue. A single structure sits on the double or triple lot.  The new construction building to the left was completed prior to this summer.

Sold condos along the 4800 to 5200 blocks of North Lincoln Avenue have a median price of about $550,000.

This mural is viewed from the parking lot of Play It Again Sports 3939 North Ashland in Lakeview.  Full shot below.  It has graced the Ten-Cat Tavern in Lakeview now for a couple years. Googled around and found it is by   French artists Ella & Pitr . What a coup by the long time building and tavern owners.  Where else but Chicago can you buy used baseball cletes and stop and stare at international works of art?

New mural honors influential women at Chicago Cultural Center

I took picture this several weeks ago while checking out a proposed development site.

Seems a legit image this week.

Saw your blog post...The mural was finished in April of this year. The artist is Joseph “Sentrock” Perez

An Old Irving Park mural beckons...

A unique mural on North Pulaski just south of Irving Park Road calls us to the "Country".

I only recently took notice of the mural at the 90/94 underpass in the Irving Park neighborhood despite driving this way quite a bit. I *believe* it was painted in 2012. Any info on this feel free to email me direct.

 The Irving Park/ Old Irving Park neighborhood and the group Old Irving Park Association have been involved in many neighborhood murals.  Really, really cool.

Mural at 925 W Diversey in Lincoln Park

View of the mural at Holy Covenant Methodist Church at 925 West Diversey (at North Wilton side of building) from the Diversey Brown line platform. I've looked at this painting for many many years and it's the first time I took a picture.  Public art and murals are part of the diverse city aesthetic but also can be economically beneficial.
