One of our most popular markets for single family home buyers is Roscoe Village in Chicago's Northcenter community area.
20 single family homes sold in the first 6 months of 2011 in the commonly considered boundaries of Roscoe Village (Belmont to Addison, Ashland to Western). This is up 81% from 2010 same period.
The median price was $730,000, slightly down from 2010's $760,000. The highest sale being $1,450,000 (2004 new construction on a 37 wide lot) and the lowest being $206,000 ( a frame house foreclosure cash deal on a standard lot that's probably torn down already).
