Local Chicago news resources we read

From time-to-time I like to point out hyper-local news sources that help me keep up with the North Side neighborhoods we work in.  Here are a few in no particular order:

www.YoChicago.com

Yo Chicago offers unique and intelligent insight on the business of real estate.   Their news feed can't be beat. The site also offers arguably the best collection of property and neighborhood video PLUS "helicopter flyover" photos available for view in Chicago!

Lincoln Square Patch

The "Patch family", including Lincoln Park and Roscoe Village/ North Center, has good local news on business openings, closings, services, entertainment, city construction and some real estate picks.

DNAinfo.com Chicago

Good, professional coverage of both hyper-local and bigger downtown stories.

Curbed Chicago

Good scoops and aggregated news on major new construction proposals, interesting properties, and some fun mixed in too.
