New renovation of gorgeous Lincoln Park "short-sale" greystone

We snapped a photo of this terrific greystone at 533 W Belden in Lincoln Park last week.  The property sold as a short-sale all cash to a real estate development company in May 2013 for $930,000.  A very good deal and PRIMO location.  Renovation of the property is underway.

Building permits at Chicago Data Portal call for the renovation of the existing building per plans at an estimated $380,000.  I don't immediately see any zoning request information.  It looks like it may remain a multi-unit investment but it could also be a conversion to a single family home (let us know if you know... ya know?).

56 Lincoln Park multi-units  (2-4 unit buildings) closed in Lincoln Park for the year 2013 with a median price of about $800,000.  533 W Belden is one of the better combinations of architectural curb appeal and location.
