Realtor at work! Inspecting a foreclosure condo in Lakeview

I met with buyer clients Tuesday morning at their property inspection in Lakeview.  This situation is unique for a few reasons. It's a foreclosure (bank owned), it's taken over a year to close the deal and this was the second physical inspection.  Long story short the HOA put a lien on the property forcing the bank to make repairs to the common structures of the unit.  Without getting into detail... it took a long time to straighten out.

The well located duplex-up features a large private rooftop deck.
The home is worth waiting for. The great location is a half block from the current Whole Foods Market on Ashland and a block from the new flagship Whole Foods Market in development.  Dry cleaners, major gyms (XSport Fitness), cafes, restaurants, all of Southport Corridor... any needs and wants steps away.

We recommended a second property inspection to look at work completed by the bank and to help plan for renovations. Our preferred inspectors offer very practical advise to buyers and are available after the closing to answer questions. I'm there to talk sourcing materials, hiring contractors, making good renovation decisions and for moral support!
