New Construction: Lincoln Park double-lot house on prestigious Burling Street

Work has ramped up on a new construction double lot single family home on the 2400 block of North Burling Street in Lincoln Park.  Burling is home to gorgeous vintage grey-stones, brick row houses and tasteful modern creations (and a couple stinkers, but they are dwarfed by this classy block).  The trees, landscaping and aesthetic of this block are fantastic.

The 2400 block of North Burling Street is an oasis among the bustle of this busy Lincoln Park location. The last single family home sale was in 2009 for a 1995 built gorgeous contemporary home on a standard lot (25'x125') for over $1.7 million. A double lot home here depending on the finish level could be up to $4 million or so for market value. A contemporary renovation of a frame home at $1,049,000 and a vintage row house with no parking at $759,000 are currently for sale on the block.

Some of the more traditional row house neighbors are shown below just north of the new construction house.

One of those tasteful modern creations I can't get enough of!

Walk everywhere...restaurants, schools, the lake, the train...you're in East Lincoln Park baby!
